Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium - Freelance
Project Overview

This project was produced for Riyadh Art under the Royal Commission for Riyadh City as part of the Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium, a large-scale public art initiative bringing together international artists.

The work focuses on documenting the sculptural process, artist interactions, and the transformation of raw material into finished installations, translating craftsmanship and scale into a visually engaging, narrative-driven format.

My Role
  1. Captured on-ground content including artist interactions, sculpting processes, and environmental storytelling

  2. Supported editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, contributing to shot selection, pacing, and sequence refinement

  3. Structured visual sequences to improve narrative flow, continuity, and audience retention

  4. Collaborated with the director on framing and visual direction during production

Content Strategy
  1. Designed for Instagram and YouTube distribution, with a focus on visually engaging, platform-friendly content

  2. Prioritized strong visual hooks, sequence-based storytelling, and pacing to maintain viewer retention

  3. Used a mix of close-up craftsmanship shots, wide environmental frames, and motion-driven transitions to create contrast and depth

  4. Targeted culturally engaged audiences, art enthusiasts, and global viewers interested in large-scale public art and creative processes

  5. Focused on cinematic storytelling with strong visual continuity and immersive pacing

Creative Direction

I proposed and executed key visual storytelling approaches to enhance engagement and narrative clarity within the final content.

This included designing a sequence-based progression from object detail to human interaction and finally to full-scale sculpture, translating the artistic process into a clear and cohesive narrative.

I also introduced a stop-motion style concept using repeated framing with controlled subject variation to create rhythm, visual consistency, and pattern-driven engagement suited for digital platforms.

  • Conceptualized and captured as a sequence: object → interaction → scale. Focused on maintaining visual continuity and narrative flow to represent craftsmanship and transformation.
