Project Overview

This project was developed in collaboration with filmmaker Rameez Manama as a cinematic promotional piece for Qatar National Day, supporting tourism visibility under the Visit Qatar initiative.

The work focuses on capturing Qatar’s landscapes, architecture, and cultural identity through atmospheric, location-driven storytelling, translating everyday environments into visually compelling, narrative-led sequences.


My Role

  1. Captured on-ground footage focused on environmental storytelling, human presence, and spatial composition

  2. Contributed to shot composition, framing decisions, and visual direction alongside the director

  3. Assisted in editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, supporting sequence building, pacing, and refinement

  4. Participated in storyboard development and shot division to structure narrative flow across sequences


Content Strategy

  1. Designed as a cinematic tourism narrative, aligning with Visit Qatar’s visual storytelling direction

  2. Focused on mood, atmosphere, and cultural representation rather than informational content

  3. Used a mix of wide landscape shots, human subjects, and transitional frames to build continuity

  4. Structured pacing to reflect a journey through place, identity, and environment

  5. Targeted global audiences with interest in travel, culture, and destination storytelling


Creative Direction

Contributed to shaping the visual storytelling approach, focusing on narrative clarity, composition, and atmospheric consistency across the project.


This included developing a cinematic progression through locations, subjects, and environments, ensuring each frame contributed to a cohesive and intentional narrative.

I also supported the structuring of sequences through storyboard planning and shot division, helping translate conceptual ideas into visually grounded execution.
